Rash Testing Bar: This is uniquely designed to increase magnification of the rash area to help confirm a meningitis rash.

Meningitis Information Leaflet: This is highly valuable as it details the key symptoms of meningitis, giving information on using the Rash Bar and what action to take if the symptoms have appeared. Details of 24 hour helpline are also included.

WHEN TO USE THE MENINGITIS EMERGENCY PACK?

The pack should be stored in a convenient location to ensure if any symptoms appear, that you have the information to hand. You should check the symptoms against the information leaflet, and if a rash is present, you should check it using the Rash Testing Bar.

HOW TO USE THE RASH TEST BAR?

Press the bar firmly on the rash (label side down) and rock it gently from side to side.

If the rash does not disappear, seek medical help immediately.

If the rash disappears under the rash test bar, keep an eye on the other symptoms, and if they become more severe, contact your doctor.
