What’s Included

This Zoom Testing kit checks for the 3 most commonly used drugs in the UK – Cannabis, Cocaine and Heroin. The test has a new, easy-to-use design that’s all in one piece.

Everything you need comes in the box. The person being tested simply places the test under their tongue to collect saliva, and you wait for the results to show up. That’s it – no special training or complicated procedures needed.

Each kit includes:

  • • 1 x 3-in-1 Saliva Drug Test Kit (oral fluid test)
  • • Clear instructions for use
  • • Result development window
  • • Discrete, plain packaging

Why Choose Saliva Testing?

Saliva tests have grown significantly in use for several very good reasons:

Non-Invasive & Convenient

You can perform the test almost anywhere – in an office, at home, or at a workplace. No need for special facilities, toilets, or privacy booths. This makes saliva testing far less awkward than asking someone to wee in a cup. Most people find it far less uncomfortable and invasive than traditional urine testing.

Nearly Impossible to Cheat

Unlike urine tests, you cannot swap saliva or dilute it. The test happens in front of you, in real-time. There’s virtually no way to manipulate or tamper with a saliva sample, making this the most secure testing method available. This is why many workplaces and law enforcement prefer saliva tests.

Detects Recent Drug Use

Saliva tests are excellent at identifying very recent drug consumption. This makes them perfect for workplace drug screening, roadside testing, or checking if someone is currently impaired. The test shows what’s happened in the past day, not weeks gone by.

Accurate & Comparable to Blood Tests

The 3-panel test provides results remarkably similar to what a blood test would show. The test detects drug traces in saliva that have migrated from blood vessels to the mouth. At 99% accuracy, it’s highly reliable for identifying the presence of drugs.

What This Test Detects

Drug Cut-off Level Detection Window
Cannabis (Marijuana, THC) 12 ng/mL 8–12 hours
Cocaine (Coke, Crack) 20 ng/mL 1–2 days
Opiates (Heroin, Morphine, Codeine) 40 ng/mL 24–36 hours

These detection windows are approximate and can vary depending on individual metabolism, frequency of use, and the amount consumed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is This Test Accurate?

Yes. This test is 99% accurate and performs just as well as laboratory saliva testing. However, like all drug tests, there is a small possibility of false positives or false negatives. If a positive result is critical (such as for employment), we recommend confirming with a laboratory test.

How Long Does the Test Take?

The actual testing process takes just 3 minutes. You place the test under the tongue to collect saliva for 3 minutes, then wait a further few minutes for the results to appear. You’ll have your answer before you can make a cup of tea!

Can Someone Cheat This Test?

Saliva tests are very difficult to cheat compared to urine tests. You cannot swap or dilute saliva, and the test happens in real-time, so there’s virtually no opportunity for tampering. This is why many workplaces and law enforcement prefer saliva testing.

What If the Result Is Positive?

A positive result indicates the presence of the drug in the person’s saliva at the time of testing. This suggests recent use (within the detection window shown in the table above). If this is for employment or legal purposes, we recommend confirming with a laboratory-based confirmatory test (GC-MS).

Can I Use This Test on a Child?

This test is intended for use on adults (18 years and over). If you have concerns about a young person’s drug use, we recommend speaking with a healthcare professional or contacting a support organisation.

Before You Test – Preparation Tips

For Accurate Results:

  • • Do not eat, drink, or smoke for at least 10 minutes before the test
  • • Do not chew gum or use mouthwash
  • • Have the person being tested rinse their mouth with water if they’ve recently eaten
  • • Ensure the kit is at room temperature before opening
  • • Read all instructions carefully before beginning

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Prepare

1. Remove the test kit from the packet and place it on a clean, flat surface.

2. Check that the kit is intact and the seal hasn’t been broken.

Step 2: Collect Saliva Sample

3. Place the absorbent tip of the test under the tongue.

4. Hold it there for approximately 3 minutes to collect enough saliva. You’ll see the tip become wet and saturated.

5. Remove the test kit and place it on the flat surface with the absorbent tip pointing upwards.

Step 3: Wait for Results

6. The test will begin to develop. You will see lines appear in the result window.

7. Wait for a full 10 minutes before reading the results. Do not read the test before 1 minute or after 10 minutes have passed.

How to Read Your Results

Negative Result

You will see: One line (C line only) OR three lines clearly visible

A negative result means no drugs were detected in the saliva sample at the time of testing. The control line will always appear. If there is a clear gap or no line in any of the test areas, all drugs are negative.

Positive Result

You will see: Control line (C) present, but one or more test lines are MISSING

A positive result means one or more of the drugs tested has been detected in the saliva. Check which lines are missing to identify which drug(s) are present:

  • • Missing Cannabis line = Cannabis detected
  • • Missing Cocaine line = Cocaine detected
  • • Missing Opiates line = Opiates detected

Invalid Result

You will see: No control line at all

If the control line (C) does not appear, the test is invalid. This may happen if insufficient saliva was collected or the test was damaged. Repeat the test with a new kit.
