These Flight and Travel Socks from Zoom Health are also known as compression socks.

Compression socks have many benefits for the traveller. They aid blood flow between the heart and the feet and can help alleviate the uncomfortable effects that travelling can create.

Why Choose Compression Socks?

You’ll love how these socks work their magic during those long-haul flights. Ever noticed your ankles swelling after sitting for hours? That’s where our compression socks shine. They’re not just ordinary socks – think of them as your personal circulation coaches, giving your legs a gentle squeeze in all the right places.

For frequent flyers, these socks are a game-changer. You’ll feel the difference whether you’re stuck in economy class or racing through terminals between connections. The graduated compression (that’s fancy talk for tighter at the ankle, looser as it goes up) helps fight that heavy-leg feeling that hits around hour three of your flight.

But here’s the real kicker – they’re not just for flying! Marathon runners swear by them for recovery, nurses power through 12-hour shifts wearing them, and they’re a lifesaver if you’re exploring a new city on foot. Plus, unlike those medical-looking compression stockings your grandma might have worn, these sleek black socks look just like regular knee-highs. You’ll get all the benefits without sacrificing style.

Technical Details and Benefits

When flying high above the clouds, the air pressure can affect your legs and can increase the chance of swelling or even blood clots. Compression socks are designed to tightly hug your legs which makes your veins and muscles move blood more efficiently.

Prolonged sitting or standing is helped by the stimulation to your blood flow when wearing these socks. If you have been taking part in strenuous activities, such as hiking or walking, they can also help muscles from getting sore.

Product Specifications

These Black, Knee-High compression socks are available in Medium (Size 4-7) or Large (Size 7-11). They conform to British Standard BS BS7363. They have a compression level of 10mmHG.

Brilliant Travel Socks. The socks are 2/3 cotton that makes them much easier to take on and off. They are relatively comfortable to wear. The price was good and I was surprised how quickly they arrived.
