Caprylic Acid is a widely distributed fatty acid, mainly found in palm and coconut oils. It is often used to treat a number of infections, including candiadiasis, which is a yeast overgrowth in the gut. When left untreated, this condition can cause recurrent thrush, chronic fatigue syndrome, abdominal bloating and depression.
Caprylic Acid may help to maintain a normal balance of yeast bacteria in the colon, due to it’s anti-fungal effects.
A number of clinical studies using Caprylic Acid have shown the disappearance of candida from stool specimens within a few days.
